Which MorphOS 2.0 pointer set do you use?
Alba, because it is so shiny white.
Chicago, because I like it's art deco look.
Default, because I don't want to change it.
DefaultRed, because red is better than black.
Lux, because it's so transparenty.
Olympus, because it reminds me of Populous.
Silverado, because it's tiny.
STBlue, because I have problems with my eyes.
I don't have a graphic card supporting 32bit pointers. :-(

Announcements : New AmiZilla Website
Posted By: discreetfx. on 2008/8/12 8:21:41 (Reads: 217)

Announcements A few of you have noticed that a new AmiZilla website was launched recently. The talented artist that created it did a great job. AmiZilla has been a catalyst for change in the Amiga marketplace and an inspiration to all. AmiZilla shocked the Amiga market and even received wide press on Slashdot, Mozilla forums and many other news sites when it was launched in 2003. Many were caught off guard that an Amiga effort could bring in over $10,000 in donations, the Amiga is suppose to dead right? The Amiga is not dead, the AROS Bounty system, MorphZone Bounties and many other bounty systems were all inspired by AmiZilla and went on to collect thousands of dollars. DiscreetFX did not consider this competition to AmiZilla, in fact we embraced it and put lots of money into AROS Bounties, MorphZone Bounties and many others. The small community that is Amiga proved that it was not giving up and it was willing to pay for quality software to be ported to the Four Headsmen of Amiga.

Announcements The german issues 44 of the Amiga Future are out of stock. Because of that you can read the magazines (amongst many other issues) online at http://www.amigafuture.de/kb.php?mode=cat&cat=10 .

The issue 73 has been released recently and is available in our online shop. Just now we work hard on issue 74.

You can order the german and english Issue 73 of Amiga Future in our online shop.

Amiga Future needs your support

We are looking for editors for the magazine. You should own a classic Amiga or Pegasos and know it's workings. Furthermore you should have some experience in writing reviews. As well as that, your native language has to be either German or English which you should be fluent in.

Please don't forget: The Amiga Future is a community project.

In addition we are still looking for translators for the magazine. Again your native language should be German or English and you should be fluent in reading/writing both of them.

Interested? Please contact us via mail at: Andreas@amigafuture.de

Announcements IMMEDIATE RELEASE : DiscreetFX Announcement

Open Video Toaster Instant Bounties

Chicago, Illinois ? July 14th, 2008 -- Visual FX company DiscreetFX LLC Inc., in order to stimulate development for the Video Toaster Flyer source code DiscreetFX is launching an Instant Bounty contest. What is an Instant Bounty? This is a bounty that is paid once a programmer has requested and been assigned a programming task for Open Video Toaster. This does take a little trust on our part since bounties are paid before coding even begins. Programmer past developments and applications will be taken into serious consideration and help gain them approval for OVT Instant Bounties. Programmers should review source code for the bounty in question before applying for consideration. Each development task for OVT will have set guidelines and coding time limits. (Read more...)
